As we move into the new year – ready or note – it’s time to gear up for tax season.
To help, we thought we would pass along some important information to make the process smooth and easy!
Before we can file your 2023 return, we will need the following documents: (keep a look out as they trickle in by snail mail or digitally over the next several weeks.)

- Mortgage interest statements (Form 1098) if applicable.
- A list of deductible expenses like property taxes, medical bills, any medical insurance premiums, charitable donations, and business expenses (be sure to keep your receipts for your files).
- A list of any federal and state estimated payments made for 2023.
- Records of significant life events, such as marriage, divorce, or change in dependents.
Remember, the deadline to file your federal income tax return is Monday, April 15, 2024.
